Dr. Michelle Dumiller Carlton was born and raised in the Denham Springs area. She is a graduate of Denham Springs High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. Dr. Carlton was inducted as member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society while attending LSUHSC. Following a one year general practice residency, Dr. Carlton completed a 2-year orthodontic residency program at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Carlton's professional affiliations include: the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Louisiana Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Society. Dr. Carlton is board certified through the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Carlton enjoys working with both children and adults, helping them achieve beautiful smiles. It is her goal to provide high quality orthodontics in a friendly and caring environment. She wants orthodontic treatment to be a positive experience for everyone. When not in the office, Dr. Carlton enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, and their son, Cooper. They are big LSU Tiger fans!
