About Dr. Carlton
Dr. Michelle Dumiller Carlton was born and raised in the Denham Springs area. After getting her braces as an adolescent, Dr. Carlton knew she wanted to be an orthodontist. She loved her new smile and wanted to be able to give that to others. She is a graduate of Denham Springs High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. Dr. Carlton was inducted as member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society while attending LSUHSC. Following a one-year general practice residency, Dr. Carlton completed a two-year orthodontic residency program at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. Dr. Carlton always knew she wanted to come home to Denham Springs to practice orthodontics.

Dr. Carlton enjoys working with both children and adults, helping them achieve beautiful smiles. It is her goal to provide the highest quality orthodontic care in a fun and friendly environment. She wants orthodontic treatment to be a positive experience for everyone!
When not in the office, Dr. Carlton enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, and their children, Cooper and Kyleigh. They are members of First Baptist Church of Denham Springs. They are big LSU fans!
