Amanda - Financial/Insurance Coordinator
Amanda joined our team in April of 2025. She has been working in the healthcare field for over 20 years helping patients get the care they deserve. She loves assisting our patients and their families with all of their financial/insurance needs.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening, playing with her fur babies and spending time with her husband, Lee, her children David and Madison and their families.
Angela - Clinical Assistant
Angela joined Carlton Orthodontics in May 2020. She is a graduate of Holden High School Class of 2012. She is an EDDA certified assistant and has been working in the Dental field since 2014. Angela enjoys creating relationships with our patients along side Dr. Carlton and the team.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, David, and their three beautiful children, Leo, Monroe, and Gracie!
Lauren - Scheduling/Marketing Coordinator
Lauren joined our team in December 2025. She is a graduate of Walker High School Class of 2022. She will be the person to handle all of your scheduling needs. Lauren enjoys working with Dr. Carlton and the team getting to know our patients and their families.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband Nick, their families, and traveling.
Mel - Treatment Coordinator
Mel will be the person that will work with you during the initial appointment to ensure that all of your needs are met and questions answered. She has been with Dr. Carlton since February of 2009. She entered the orthodontic field in 1998 with E.D.D.A. Certification and enjoys watching patients' smiles transform. Mel also works in the clinic at various times so she may assist with your wires and colors..
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her three children: Cade, Calli and Cole. She also enjoys watching movies, cooking and hanging out with her family.
Melanie - Clinical Assistant
Melanie joined Carlton Orthodontics in June of 2014. She is a graduate of Denham Springs High School class of 2011. She is X-ray and E.D.D.A certified. Melanie enjoys working side by side with Dr. Carlton and establishing relationships with our patients and their families.
Outside of work, she loves traveling and spending time with her husband Jordan and their two daughters, Kadence and Harper.
Scarlet - Sterilization Assistant
Scarlet joined Carlton Orthodontics in January of 2026. She is graduating from Live Oak High School in May of 2026. She will be attending LSU this upcoming fall to obtain a degree in Biological Sciences in hopes to apply to dental school in the future. She enjoys being part of a team that leaves such a positive impact on their patients.
In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, putting together bouquets & spending time with her friends and family.
Suzana - Clinical Assistant
Suzana joined Carlton Orthodontics in May of 2016. She is a graduate of Woodlawn High School class of 2011. She is X-ray and E.D.D.A certified. Suzana enjoys working on patients and revealing their new smile!
Outside of work, she loves to paint in her spare time, travel and go on spontaneous trips, and spending time with her husband Dario and their two sons, Lucca and Leo.
